Facebook Subscribe Button
5 FebruaryFacebook ‘Subscribe Button’, An Entirely New Way to Connect:
Facebook rolled out a feature that introduced an entirely new relationship category to the social networking site.
Until now, users could only be friends with one another on Facebook. Starting today, they’ll also be able to “subscribe” to each other thanks to a new setting that allows individual profiles to behave more like Facebook fan pages.
A user will have the option of adding a “subscribe” button to her profile to enable people who are not her friends to see her public updates in their News Feeds, rather than having to visit her profile page directly. She will receive a notification when someone has signed up to see her updates, and will have the option of controlling who can comment on and “like” her posts.
Before ‘Subscription’ there were only two types of relationships one could have on Facebook: symmetrical friendship where both users confirmed they wanted to see each other’s content in the news feed, and Liking of Pages where one user chose to see updates in the news feed from a public entity such as a business. Many thought Facebook would have already launched such a feature. However, the company appears to finally be ready to expand its scope after implementing an increase in the transparency and ease of publishing to specific audiences including the public.
Some people who post publicly have a public presence and want to interact with people beyond their friends, ~Naomi Gleit
Director of product at Facebook, told The Huffington Post,”This allows them to reach people beyond their friends.”
In a blog post, Facebook suggested that ”journalists, artists and political figures” might take advantage of the new tool. If you see a Subscribe button on your favorite blogger’s profile, this means you can subscribe. Just click the button to get their public updates right in your News Feed,” Facebook wrote.
Though it remains to be seen how — and if — users will take to this feature, the subscribe button appears to have the potential to shift the social dynamic on Facebook by changing how people connect and how they communicate.
Asymmetrical Following Through the Subscribe Button
Now, users will have the ability to opt in allowing subscribers. This places a Subscribe button on their profile which non-friends can click to begin viewing the updates they publish with the privacy setting of public. The user being subscribed to doesn’t have to confirm each connection, and won’t see content of their subscribers in the news feed.
Technically, the Subscribe button just makes consumption of public updates more convenient and its opt in, so there aren’t any serious privacy concerns. Someone could already visit the profile of a non-friend and see their public updates, but now they’ll be sent them through the news feed. Those opting into subscriptions can select to allow or disallow comments by subscribers, and activate notifications about gaining new subscribers.
Asymmetrical following will create a middle ground between personal profiles for private updating and Facebook Pages that are totally public. If a user has opted in to allowing subscriptions and they reject a friend request from someone, that person will automatically become a subscriber. The option should be especially helpful to self-promoters who’ve hit Facebook’s 5,000 friend limit. If users amass a subscriber base and later want to become a Page with update targeting, applications, and analytics, Facebook has confirmed that they’ll be able to convert their subscribers into Likes.
The Subscribe button puts Facebook in direct competition with Twitter, as well as Google+, which are both built around assymetrical following. Journalists, thought leaders, celebrities, or anyone who chooses to publish publicly will be able to amass a subscriber base, gain more impressions for their posted content, and engage with strangers by tapping into Facebook’s enormous user base and familiar discussion tools. Facebook’s Director of Product Naomi Gleit tells us, “We want you to be able to broaden your conversations, comment and interact with people who are outside of your friend circle.”

Exciting new product!
18 JanuaryW e have been a little quiet on our site lately as we have been hard at work a brand new automated like system that has been delivering some very high quality targeted likes!
Targeted likes are the holy grail of facebook marketing and there are a lot of providers out there who claim to be able to deliver them. We have tested all the big players out there, we are yet to find a single other fan provider who was able to deliver REAL targeted likes. Every single of them gave us either fake fans, or black hat fans (meaning the fans became fans of our test pages without knowing).
Our new system is a simple yet elegant solution and it works like this:
We have under our control over 200 huge fan pages (between 100k and 500k fans each). From these fan pages we promote specially designed friendly viral websites. The viral websites have a custom designed “Like Locker” which displays some information and pictures from your fan page, and asks the user to click like in order to see our content. Our content is 100% brand safe content that we know our fans will like to see, we make sites about movie mistakes, celebrity gossip, funny videos, video game hints and videos etc. We will shortly begin to showcase some of our viral sites, at the moment we are testing out our new service and expanding it.

What is a squeeze page?
A squeeze page is the first page user sees when they click on your marketing link. It is designed to drive home a sale, or in our case to get the user to click on the “Like” button. In facebook by default the first page a user sees when they go to your page is the wall application. In order for more users to like your page it is absolutely essential that you change this to a more attractive page.
So here is a little tutorial we have put together because we want to help you have the most successful page possible so that you keep coming back!
Step 1 – Install The Static FMBL Application
The FBML application is a great little application that you can install on your page to show your own HTML code.
To install this app click on the edit you page link:
In the edit screen scroll down to the “More Applications” section and click on Static FBML:

Then click the add to my page button:
Then click the add to page button below
So now we have FBML installed we need to configure it and code up the page. Head back to your page and click on Edit Page once more.
Then click the “Edit” button in the new FBML application section.
The box title you give you page has to be short and sweet or the text wont fit. Pick something straight to the point, but something that will get the users attention.
Now here is where the magic happens. The following is the code for our own KFC page that we put together as a demonstration of what we can do with a simple page. Some of the text is hidden from the users until they have clicked like and it is set out in such a way that it shows users that they will get the juicy bit of information once they click like.
The trick here is the “” and the “”. Any HTML between them is hidden. If you are a band or an artist or any one with some HTML from your site that you want to show you can throw in HTML directly from your sites source code as we have done with our own facebook page for this site to your right.
Just in case you want to see how the whole code hangs together here it is in all its glory.
Now you have FBML installed you need to configure it. The first thing you should configure is the settings that tell Facebook which page to show your users first. Right now this is set to your wall, to show off the funky squeeze page were about to make you should set the new FBML tab to be the first page. To do this click the Edit Page link like we did before.
Now click on the edit button under the “Wall” box:
Now set the default landing page to your brand new FBML tab:
You are now done! Enjoy your spunky new page! We know your fans will.
Buying Fans vs Organic Fans
15 AugustBuying Fans vs Organic Fans
If you are an internet marketing guru then you already know the power of Facebook, but what if your completely new at this; Can buying Facebook fans actually benefit you? Would it be better just let fans find me? Read on to find out!
The changing landscape of the web
The internet is constantly changing and new sites are popping up all the time, but the main large internet powers just keep getting bigger and bigger. Google, Twitter, Bing and Facebook are in a constant battle over the hoards of users clicking links and finding content however lately one has risen above the rest and surprisingly become the biggest source of news, links and new content on the internet.
Facebook.
Who would have ever guessed that a Myspace rival would not only dominate all social networks but rise to threaten even Google? I read a study the other day that showed stats that more people click on news links from Facebook then they do from Google!
This tells us one thing, we are defining how the web works best, and it works best by social marketing. It makes sense; you would use Google for searching something very specific but when was the last time you remember clicking on a Google ad? When was the last time you trusted the comments of one of your buddies on Facebook and clicked a link they recommended?
Facebook Like System
In the past if you were an artist who wants to promote you latest track you would upload your latest track to soundcloud, or if it was even longer ago myspace and you would send out an email to all your loyal fans to go and click your links to download you latest track.
How did that work for you? It is a one way street, if you sent out 1000 emails how many of those 1000 actually read or even listened to your new content? How many other artists were doing the exact same thing in Myspace?
Facebook is different, much more powerful. If you set up a fan page on facebook and someone “Likes†your page you get a fan for life! Every time you post up a new track, product or article and they click “Like†all of their friends get notified that their buddy just liked a something new of yours, and if they decide to like it to it starts to spread, rapidly. When this starts to happen over thousands of people we call it a viral page, and that is where you will start to see the sales roll in.
How to make a viral page
Viral pages are tricky at first. You can’t just make any old page with a couple of good links go viral. First you must have decent content that people want to like, then you must have an attractive fan page and lastly you need a solid fan base to start things off.
We can help you with the fan page and the fans. Believe it or not but, those are the easy things!
Are organic fans better then bought fans?
Here is where I think there is a massive misconception. Bought fans are in fact not really that different from organic fans. When you purchase 1000 fans they are not forced to “Like†your page, they do not just mindlessly click to like your page.
To get 1000 fans, we send out a suggestion (or an invite) to well over 10, 000 to come and take a look at what you have to offer. That’s it, there’s no special tricks, no dodgy methods, no nothing! We are just helping you speed up the process of finding people who like your content!
We will take a look at the content you are offering on your page and do out best to sell the like to our followers using the messaging capability of the fan page suggestion box. In reality we are using the Facebook functions as intended, doing the same thing you would do to ask your personal friends to like your page the only difference is we send suggestions to a lot more potential fans then you could.
Why are our price so Cheap? Are we scam?
12 AugustWhy Are Our Prices So Cheap? Are We a Scam?
I got an email from a very happy customer a few days ago reading:
Thankyou so much for sending the fans, your prices were so low that we thought you would just be a scam! I am so happy to have recieved the fans we will definately use you again
I love getting emails like these but it makes me wonder if I should be increasing my prices or not!
I want everyone to know that there is a really good reason why our prices are so low. You see, there are actually very few people out there who actually supply likes. There are only a handlful of techniques as well. Most of the other sites out there use the same bunch of guys to supply their likes using the same old spammy/ fake like techniques.
The secret is, we DO NOT OUTSOURCE! Our team works for us, and ONLY for us. We are the team out on facebook doing this and we are the best at it.

How to get QUALITY facebook Likes
20 July How to get QUALITY facebook Likes
WHAT IS A QUALITY LIKES?
So what do we mean by a “quality†fan? To me it means a fan who is generally interested in your page; A fan who might click like on your status updates from time to time; A fan who will comment on your updates and ultimately a fan that can be converted into a sale.
HOW DO WE SEND YOU QUALITY LIKES?
To answer this question you need to understand how simple our process is. We have lots of facebook accounts with lots and lots of friends that we have over time built up for specific needs. We have some accounts targeting only friends from one specific country and some that are just any friend who we managed to find.
If your product is only for a specific country we can guarantee to market it to those citizens. That is our first step to getting you quality fans.
The second step is how we promote your page. We don’t use any tricks, we use simple numbers. The method is simple really, we log into facebook with one of our accounts, we send funny status updates daily; we send messages and engage with our friends. Once every few days we send a “suggestion†on each account for all the friends on that account to check out an interesting fan page with a tailored message for that fan page.
That is the key, we are only using a function built into facebook that invites our friends to check out your page. There is not secret opt in, no fake accounts (other then our own), all we do is suggest to our friends to look at your page. They can then choose to like your page or now.
The fans you get will have already decided that they like your page but does this guarantee them to all be quality fans? No, the rest is up to you.
We can send you fans, but if your design is ordinary and all your status updates are sales pitches then your fans are going to be useless to you.
HOW TO CONVERT FANS TO QUALITY LIKES?
Want quality fans who are going to engage you? You’re going to need a number of things:
First of all your page needs to look pretty. A simple page with text is not going to cut it I’m afraid. Invest in a graphic designer and your fans will flourish.
Change the default landing page to an interesting page, at all costs do not leave your landing page to your wall! Fans hate this!
Engage your fans, you don’t need to have every single status update to be related to your business. Show personally, be funny and more of them will click the like button on your updates! Check out reface.me for some ideas on how to engage them via updates.
Offer free promotions to fans who comment on your updates, you need to make your page seem like its got lots of conversations in order to promote conversations.
Get more fans. 1000 fan package may be good to start off, but you need numbers to start looking more appealing. Our own page to the right of this site took around 2500-3000 fans before we started getting decent engagement from fans. Not everyone has the time to click like on all your status updates but people like to follow their friends and if you get more fans, and their friends see that they like you updates they will join in too.

The different types of fan sellers
18 JuneThe different types of fan sellers
There are really only two types of fan providers, actual providers and resellers.
Resellers
The resellers make money buy creating pretty sites (like mine) and selling invite or fan providing services to the public who may or may not know what the going rate for fans is.
They bump the prices up sometimes by 100% to take a tidy profit. What buyers don’t realize is that the service they are buying is not only exactly the same as the cheaper site they just visited, but is probably done by the same provider.
Inviters
These are the guys who actually do the work. Some of these guys have sites like mine where we offer a service at a greatly discounted site then most others. We do this because we don’t need to inflate our prices when your coming directly to us.
When you look at inviters there are really only two different types of inviters. There are “facebook gurus” and then there’s the “button clickers”.
BUTTON CLICKERS
Button clickers are pretty smart individuals who saw a great opportunity to make decent money doing a tiresome but not too difficult task.
There was a facebook hack that made the rounds around the internet that allowed a user to select every single person in their friend list on facebook and send each one of them an invite to view a fan page in under 1 second. Imagine that power for a minute! If you had bought an account with 5000 friends, you could send all of them an invite in under a second and you would get quite a few of them to like the page.
That was the principle of the button clickers. Simple. Easy. Until facebook changes the code behind the page that is, and without decent coding skills and an understanding of facebook you wont be able to sustain your business. This is the situation these guys are in now. Either they finish up with jobs they can using only manual button clicks or they find a provider who has different methods.
FACEBOOK GURUS
Facebook Gurus are the guys with an ace up their sleeve. For businesses like us being ahead of the facebook game is a career.
This is no hobby for us, we have invested both our time, knowledge and infrastructure to build a solution that enables us to deliver fans.
How? Well we have pretty sophisticated software that enables us to create, manage and promote our accounts to gather new fans.
We can now create accounts targeted to specific counties should the demand be high enough.
We have also got our own completely customized automatic method that takes the old javascript some of the other sites were using and turns it into a sophisticated solution that mimics actual users, and every time facebook changes all we need to do is reconfigure it slightly.
Why is this important? Don’t you want a fan provider who is not going to tell you half way through delivering your 10 thousand fans that facebook has changed and they are out of business?
How do you know what sort of provider a site is?
Firstly, take a look on flippa.com. If the site you are thinking of using has been for sale on flippa recently, chances are it is probably a reseller.
I have only ever seen one actual provider sell their site on flippa. It was sold with all accounts and software in tact for a very large sum of money.
Secondly, ask questions. Ask what methods they use to target fans, keeping in mind that most other providers are quite limited in what they can target. If it sounds too good to be true then it may just be.
Lastly, honesty. The guys who actually do the work have nothing to hide at all. We know what we do, we know how we do it and if we don’t sound honest and open, why send your money to them?
